1.The first most important tip we can give you is, when starting a tiling project ensure you make selections based on your taste, lifestyle, design and location.

2. We recommend sealing the grout in a tiling project.
Grout is a porous product and can absorb oil and grease. Sealing makes the grout non-porous and makes it easier to care for. Plus, the grout looks good for longer. We always recommend using a professional installer but if you do decide to tackle the job yourself always follow the manufacturer’s directions when applying sealer as some sealers breathe naturally so a ‘still wet’ installation can be allowed to dry out even after the sealer is applied. However some sealers lock in moisture as they do stains, so ensure you do follow the manufacturer instructions on application.
Some sealers protect against everyday dirt and minor staining elements; others protect against harsh staining elements like hot grease. Spending time selecting the right sealer and sealing your grout can save a lot of grief in years to come. 3. It’s always a good idea to use a professional tiler, in most cases the right solution to fix an incorrect or poor installation is full-replacement.

4. Before using your tiled shower, polish the walls with car polish.
This will help protect your tiles from water deposits and make it easier to keep tiles look good.
